From Bariloche: Chico Circuit & Colonia Suiza

Explore the most iconic landscapes of Bariloche, hike through the forest, and enjoy Colonia Suiza, with its vantage points, history, gastronomy, crafts, and local traditions.
You'll begin the tour along the shore of Nahuel Huapi Lake on the traditional Avenida Bustillo, enjoying its scenery and views of Playa Bonita, Bahía Serena, and Huemul Island.

You'll continue towards Cerro Campanario, where you'll have the option to take a chairlift up and enjoy one of the most impressive panoramic views of Bariloche, with lakes, mountains, and forests as far as the eye can see.

You'll then tour the Llao Llao Peninsula, passing by the historic San Eduardo Chapel, Puerto Pañuelo, and the surroundings of the iconic Hotel Llao Llao. In this setting of lakes and mountains, you'll go on a mild trek along the trails of the Municipal Llao Llao Park, surrounded by coihues, cañas colihues, and Patagonian Andean forest.

The tour will continue along Lakes Escondido and Moreno until you reach the famous Punto Panorámico, from where you'll enjoy one of the most spectacular views in the region.

Finally, you'll arrive in Colonia Suiza, a picturesque town of great historical and cultural value. You'll have free time to wander its streets, discover its traditional buildings, visit the craft fair, and enjoy the local cuisine. Depending on the day of your visit, you may also witness the traditional "destape del curanto," one of the most representative customs of this community.
