Meet your guide at the trailhead, where you’ll traverse lush old-growth forests and cross pristine mountain streams. The trail gently ascends to the Lower Joffre Lake, a serene turquoise gem offering spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and the Matier Glacier in the distance.

As you continue, the path climbs steadily through subalpine terrain, leading to Middle Joffre Lake. Here, take a moment to rest and soak in the tranquil alpine environment, surrounded by towering spruce and hemlock trees. The hike then proceeds past Holloway Falls, crossing wooden bridges over Joffre Creek, before reaching the highlight of the day-Upper Joffre Lake.

At Upper Joffre Lake, you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramas of the Matier Glacier and the majestic Joffre Peak rising above. This pristine alpine lake is the perfect spot for a well-deserved break, photo opportunities, and a chance to connect deeply with nature.
