The Three‑Star Cruise on the Li River is a premium route departing from Mopanshan Wharf in Guilin and heading to Longtoushan Wharf in Yangshuo. It emphasizes comfort, eco‑friendliness, and high value for money, making it ideal for travelers who want to experience the “100‑Li Painted Corridor” without opting for a luxury‑level cruise. The price includes the cruise ticket, and you can also choose combination tickets that include other scenic spots.
You will board in the Guilin direction, starting from Mopanshan Wharf in Guilin City (about 60 minutes by coach from the city center).
You will land in the Yangshuo direction: Yangshuo Longtoushan Wharf or Shuidongmen Wharf (the exact wharf may be slightly adjusted; please refer to your ticket).
The route covers about 40–50 km and is the core section of the Li River “100‑Li Painted Corridor.” The cruise generally takes about 3.5–4.5 hours; the actual duration may vary depending on water level, weather, and other conditions.
Main scenic spots you will see along the route:
“Carp Hugging the Wall,” Langshi Fairyland, Nine Horses Fresco Cliff, Banyan River Reflection, and the “20‑Yuan RMB” backdrop. The riverbanks are lined with uniquely shaped peaks and clear waters, forming a classic “Nine Bends and Eighteen Curves” landscape, perfect for photography and viewing from the observation deck.
