Visit some of the most famous sights in Cyprus in one day! A trip to the Only divided Capital in the World – Nicosia and the beautiful seafront of Larnaca and its Old Town
Begin your journey with a stop in Lefkara village, where you’ll visit the Traditional House of Lefkaritika Lace and silver handicrafts. Learn about the history and evolution of the best-known Cypriot embroidery and see some extraordinary pieces of art.
Arrive in Nicosia and pass by the Venetian Walls, Famagusta Gate to the Old City within the walls, and the Archbishop Palace. After a short walk to Ledra Street, enjoy some free time to visit the Leventis Municipal Museum, where you can see objects from the history of the city and island, or the Shacolas Tower with 360-degree views of the city and the occupied side.
If you like, you may also visit the Turkish Occupied Area of Cyprus, separated by the UN Buffer Zone.
Next, head to Larnaca, where you’ll have free time to visit the magnificent Agios Lazaros Church and Tomb, the Old Town with its traditional stalls and shops, and the famous palm tree-lined Finikoudes Promenade. If you wish, you can also swim, visit cafes, and dine at local restaurants.
