Begin your journey with a visit to a family-owned farm, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the owner. Explore the lush farmland and meet the animals that provide the milk for traditional cheese-making. Observe every step of the process, from milking to curdling, heating, and molding. Sample fresh halloumi, creamy anari, local bread, and olives for a true taste of Cyprus.


Next, head to Agros, a picturesque village in the Troodos Mountains. Visit a family-owned business that has been preparing traditional smoked and wine meat products since 1978. Try smoked bacon, ham, sausages, and the wine used to cure them, all produced in-house.


In the same village, discover a family-owned rose factory. Learn about the process of making rose products and indulge in the magic of roses.


Continue to Platres for a short trail walk in nature, enjoying the scenery at Millomeris waterfall, one of the biggest waterfalls in Cyprus.


After the lovely walk around Platres, visit the picturesque village of Omodos and explore the Timios Stavros Monastery, known as the Monastery of the Holy Cross. This stone monastery is one of the oldest and most historic on the island.


Finally, visit a locally famous winery just outside the village. Learn about traditional winemaking methods and enjoy a thorough wine tasting session, sampling wines made from 8 different kinds of grapes.
