Begin your adventure with a pickup in Bogotá and head to the Cruz Verde Páramo. Follow ancient mountain trails that historically connected Bogotá with Choachí. Along the way, witness the remarkable transition between the Andean forest, sub-páramo, and páramo ecosystems while learning how these landscapes capture, store, and distribute water throughout the region.

Your guide will interpret the flora, fauna, geology, and ecological processes that make the páramo one of the world's most strategic ecosystems. You'll also discover the ancestral Muisca worldview through stories that explain the spiritual relationship between these mountains, the sacred lagoons, and the surrounding landscape.

The route includes visits to sacred high-altitude lagoons where many water systems originate, offering an opportunity to understand the importance of conserving these fragile ecosystems. Later, reach the impressive viewpoint known as The Face of the Indigenous (Cara del Indio), a striking rock formation overlooking the Choachí Valley, where you'll hear the local legends and ancestral interpretations associated with this sacred mountain.
