Departure from Reykjavik. Embark on the adventure of a lifetime and hike a glacier with an Icelandic Local Guide. We always travel in a small group to provide the best service!
Get picked up in Reykjavik by our expert glacier guide and drive the scenic south coast road straight to Sólheimajökull Glacier.
Put on the glacier equipment (crampons, helmet, safety harness) and hike on ice up to the glacier. The hike itself is easy but requires basic fitness. We will spend a total of 3 hours around the glacier and explore the crevasses, holes and possibly Ice Cave! (only sometimes available).
Our guide will ensure that you will be safe, he will share his vast knowledge of the glaciers and of Iceland with you as well as tell you stories of the Vikings and Folklore such as Trolls and Elves.
We always travel in small groups, ensuring the best possible service and interaction with the guide. We only employ Certified Icelandic Locals as our guides guaranteeing an authentic experience and a connection into the Icelandic culture.
We will be stopping in Hvolsvollur village so that you can buy sandwiches or snacks for lunch.

Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
