Descripción
Take part in a ceramics workshop in Cagliari, discover the simplest techniques for working with clay, enjoy homemade herbal teas and make connections with the island!
Live a unique experience in the heart of Cagliari, southern Sardinia, by participating in a ceramics workshop!
In a cosy historical house in the Castello district, an expert teacher will show you simple and primitive clay working techniques, and thanks to her skilful suggestions, you will see an entire handmade artefact come to life from your hands. During the workshop, there will be a pleasant break to sip herbal teas and home-made infusions with wild herbs, to relax and immerse yourself even more in the colours and flavours of the island.
Not only will you have the opportunity to unleash your creativity, but you will also be able to create a virtuous circle of exchange: each participant creates a bowl and leaves it for the next, so that the bowls can travel, collect stories and unite people from all over the world, making your creation unique and unrepeatable!
Take part in this original workshop, perfect for those who want to experience art, passion, and unique links with this beautiful island!
Important to know:
- Your bowl has to dry to be cooked, so you can only take it with you if it's still raw.
- If you do not have time, your creation will enter into a special exchange: you will receive the bowl of the person who came before you, and yours will be passed on to the next participant. In this way, each creation continues its journey, collecting stories and connections from all over the world.
If you do not want to participate in the bowl exchange, you have two options:
- Pick it up now: you can take your freshly moulded creation home (it will still be fresh and fragile) and complete it by baking it wherever you want
- Receive it at home: on request, we can send the cooked bowl directly to your home (it may take a few weeks)
