Although less than two miles round trip, this moderately challenging hike at high elevation will get your heart pounding and senses thriving. Once at the lake and glacier, enjoy a hot drink with views of the surrounding mountains. Finally, head to the historic town of Idaho Springs where you will have lunch followed by a soak in the therapeutic waters of the Indian Hot Springs. Can you think of a more perfect Colorado day?
