Paddle along the calm waters of Lake Stubblefield on a kayaking adventure from Houston. Learn about the geomorphology of the area and observe natural features specific to deltas. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as egrets, herons, owls, hawks, and water lilies.
Meet your guide in Houston and head to Lake Stubblefield. Get a safety briefing and instruction on how to paddle before setting off on your adventure.
As you paddle along, observe natural features specific to deltas. Learn about sedimentary processes associated with streams, lakes, floods, wetlands, and the anthropologic impact on this environment.
Keep an eye out for wildlife such as egrets, herons, owls, hawks, and water lilies. After your adventure, return to Houston.
