After meeting your tour coordinator, travel by air-conditioned vehicle to The Apiary Mountain Camp & Farm, a nature retreat nestled within the Sierra Madre mountain range. Upon arrival, take in the peaceful countryside scenery before beginning your Ultimate Mountain Farming Experience.
Follow a professional agricultural guide or farm specialist and discover what it takes to grow food sustainably in a mountain environment. Go beyond simply observing the farm as you take part in hands-on activities that may include planting, harvesting, preparing the soil, maintaining crops, and making compost.
Learn about crop planning, seasonality, circular farming, and responsible waste management. Your guide will also explain the time, effort, and care behind the food that reaches our tables. Activities vary depending on the weather, current crops, and the farm’s planting and harvesting schedule, making every visit a little different.
After working on the farm, take a well-earned break at The Apiary’s farm-to-table restaurant. Choose from freshly prepared Filipino dishes made with farm-grown and locally sourced ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan options may be requested. Meals are available at your own expense.
Continue the adventure with a 30-minute archery session. Receive basic safety instructions, pick up your bow, and see how many times you can hit the target.
Spend the rest of your visit exploring the farm’s scenic spaces, animal areas, obstacle course, and indoor and outdoor games. Seasonal catch-and-release fishing may also be available.
At the end of the experience, relax during the return journey to Metro Manila with memorable moments and a deeper appreciation for nature, sustainable agriculture, and local food production.
