Experience the “Adventure” descent: 15 km on the Hérault River, featuring rapids, rugged gorges, swimming opportunities, and views of the medieval village of Laroque, with shuttles included.
The Adventure route is Canoë Montana’s flagship descent: 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) down the Hérault River for a full day of thrills on the rapids and moments of contemplation in the heart of untouched nature, located about 1 hour from Montpellier.
The meeting point is directly at the Canoë Montana base in Agonès (large free parking area), 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Once on site, you can use the changing rooms and restrooms, then collect your equipment: canoe, paddle, life jacket, helmet, and storage container. A shuttle bus will then take you to the starting point, and the team will give you a safety briefing before you board.
The descent begins in Ganges and immediately immerses you in the unique atmosphere of the Herault Gorges. As you make your way down the river, you’ll pass the beautiful medieval village of Laroque, cross a suspension bridge, and navigate a series of rapids, some more challenging than others. Beaches are dotted along the route: the perfect opportunity to take a break, go for a swim, and have a picnic by the water.
Upon arrival, a shuttle (last departure at 6:00 pm) will take you back to the base, where your vehicle will be waiting for you. To round off the day: showers, changing rooms, a shaded terrace, and, during high season (July–August), an on-site bar and restaurant.

Our storage containers are not guaranteed to be 100% waterproof: remember to protect your phones, keys, and valuables (plastic bag, waterproof pouch).
Recommended: cord for glasses, waterproof pouch for smartphone.
Equipment provided: life jacket, paddle, storage bin, return shuttle.
Minors must be accompanied by adults.
Our facilities: bar, ice chalet, and food truck are available from July to August.
In the event of bad weather conditions or high water, the tour may be rescheduled or canceled, and you will receive a full refund.

Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
