Travel 8 km down the Hérault by canoe or kayak at your own pace. For ages 6 and up. Equipment provided, swimming spots, and return shuttle to the base in Agonès included.
Treat yourself to an easy and fun water adventure on the Hérault with this 8-km family route, accessible from 6 years old. The descent is completely independent, at your own pace, amidst unspoiled nature, small beaches for swimming or picnicking, and verdant landscapes that pass by along the water.
The meeting point is at the Canoë Montana base in Agonès (large free parking lot) 15 minutes before the departure time. On site, the team will provide you with the necessary equipment: canoe, paddle, life jacket, helmet, and storage container. You will also find changing rooms, restrooms and showers to get ready before launching and to freshen up when you return. The route starts directly from the base, with no shuttle at the start.
Once on the water, you will pass under a suspension bridge before paddling in one of the wildest areas of the river. Take advantage of the possible stops along the descent: swimming, photo breaks, relaxing on the beaches... The finish is at the Vernède dam, the end point of the route.
After the descent, a shuttle (last departure at 6:00 pm) takes you back to the base where your vehicle is waiting. Extend the experience by relaxing on the shaded terrace with a drink; in summer, some on-site offerings (bar/food truck/ice house) may be available depending on the season.

Suggested clothing: bathing suit or sports/boating attire.
Closed-toe shoes are recommended (trainers or water shoes). What to bring: towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat/cap, bottle of water.
Our storage containers are not guaranteed to be 100% waterproof: remember to protect your phones, keys, and valuables (plastic bag, waterproof pouch).
Recommended: cord for glasses, waterproof pouch for smartphone.
Equipment provided: vest, paddle, storage bin, return shuttle.
Minors must be accompanied by adults.
Boat organization: Distribution required according to the number of participants: 2-seater canoes as standard. Odd-numbered groups are supplemented by a 1-seater kayak. The choice of boats cannot be changed.
In the event of bad weather or flooding, the tour may be rescheduled or canceled (or you may receive a full refund, if you wish).

Cancelaciones
Esta excursión se puede cancelar sin costo alguno hasta :tiempo de cancelación horas antes del inicio del viaje. Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
