On this unique tour, you will discover Montpellier from a completely different perspective.
Starting from Place Jean Jaurès, in the heart of the city, we will explore the Ecusson (the historic center) through legends, myths, and historical anecdotes, against a backdrop of grand history.
At each stop, your live guide (a professional storyteller, certified guide, and historian by training) will give you two choices, and you will vote to decide the rest of the route.
What will you discover? The history of medicine in Montpellier near our prestigious Faculty of Medicine? A mysterious sect in a small street off the beaten track? A legend of a magical tree in the Jardin des Plantes? The story of a marquise who died three times, or of a watchmaker who controlled the aging of his clientele? Great monuments, little-known gems? It's YOUR choice!
Of course, your live guide, who has lived in the city for 30 years, will be generous with tips and recommendations for great places and locations to extend the experience.
