From Tbilisi: 7-Day Guided Tobavarchkili Lake Trek

Tobavarchkili lakes is located western Georgia,on the Egrisi range
Day 1: Tbilisi - Mukhuri
09.00 - Private transport from Tbilisi to Mukhuri. Sightseeing stop at Jvari and Mtskheta
Hiking guides, if they travel with the group to Mukhuri are not responsible to guide the group
to these places.
13.00 - Lunch break in Kutaisi
16.00 - Group arrives at the guesthouse in Mukhuri
19.00 - Dinner in guesthouse
Day 2: Mukhuri - Tsashkibuli lake
07.00 - Participants will pack their bags individually according to the size and weight
allowances. Important for the guides is to check that the bags are packed waterproof. This is
especially important for sleeping bags.
Kitchen equipment and rental equipment is already packed and ready for horse transport.
07.30 - loading baggage for horse in the army truck. Participants carry their own day pack
during transport. Guesthouse will hand over breakfast packages (to save time, breakfast will
not be served in the guesthouse).
7.45 - Start driving driving to Natipuru.
8.15 - Stop for breakfast
9.15 - Arrive at Natipuru. Shepherds will take care of the loading of the horses with baggage.
Group will start hiking the trail.
Campsite at the Tsashkibuli lake for 2 night.
Hiking details: distance 8,4 km, hiking time: 6-8 hours, ascending: 909 meters, descending:
385 meters
Note: in case of bad weather the Okhoje pass might not be passable. Campsite will be
made before the pass.
Day 3: Tsashkibuli lake - Chitagvalashi lake (main lake)
09.00 - Packing up the camp. Guides start preparing for the departure: packing the kitchen
equipment and personal baggage. Communicate with shepherds. Participants need to pack
their own belongings, their tents, etc. Guides will need to keep a close eye that the
participants bags are waterproof packed.
10.00 - Start to hike
Campsite at Chitagvalashi lake (Didi Tobavarchkhili). For 2 nights (or 1 night in case the
group moves too slowly, see below).

262 meters
Day 4: Day hike - Tsakatskali, Kalashi & Didghali lakes
10.00 - Day hike to 3 other lakes in the vicinity.

Note: In case the group is moving too slow. The decision can be made to move the camp
down to the Mangana gorge near Jikiri hut for the night. This will make the hiking distance
on day 5 to Kirnakhona less and could be desirable. The decision should be made in
accordance with the shepherds and the thai group leader, but the guides have the final say
in this. Advisable is to make this consideration on day 3.
Day 5: Chitagvalashi lake – Jikiri. hut
11.00 - Hike to jikiti. hut..
Hiking details: distance 5 km, hiking time: 4-5 hours, ascending: 50 meters, descending:
550 meters.
Day 6:jikiri. hut - Chkorotsku
09.00 - Hike to Chkorotsku
Hiking details: distance 8km, hiking time: 7-8 hours, ascending: 800 meters, descending:
700 meters.

Esta excursión se puede cancelar sin costo alguno hasta :tiempo de cancelación horas antes del inicio del viaje. Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
