Kazbegi & Gudauri from Tbilisi: Flexible Return on Any Day

Begin your adventure with a scenic drive along the famous Georgian Military Highway. Make your first stop at the stunning Zhinvali Reservoir, where you'll have around 20 minutes to admire the turquoise waters, capture beautiful photos, enjoy the mountain scenery, and use the restroom facilities.

Next, visit the impressive Ananuri Fortress Complex, one of Georgia's best-preserved medieval landmarks. Your professional guide will introduce you to the fascinating history of the fortress and its churches before giving you approximately 45 minutes of free time to explore the grounds and enjoy the spectacular views over the reservoir.

Continue to a traditional Georgian restaurant, where you'll have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic local lunch before heading deeper into the mountains.

In Gudauri, stop at a local honey producer, where you can taste natural mountain honey made by local farmers. Afterwards, visit the famous Gudauri Friendship Monument, offering some of the most spectacular panoramic views in the Caucasus. You'll have around 45 minutes to walk around, take unforgettable photographs, and simply enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Continue to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi), located at the foot of the majestic Mount Kazbek. From there, transfer to a 4WD vehicle (optional, 20 GEL per person) for the exciting drive up to the iconic Gergeti Trinity Church, one of Georgia's most famous landmarks. Spend approximately 30 minutes at the church, taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery and capturing unforgettable photos before returning to the minibus.

One of the highlights of this experience is its flexibility. If you wish, you can remain in Kazbegi or Gudauri for one or several nights and return to Tbilisi later with one of the scheduled tour groups on the day that suits you best.
