Enjoy clean, long and sunny beaches in Ghana at Ada foah and Big Ada, sandwiched between River Volta with estuary and the South Atlantic Ocean. The long and sandy beaches with coconut trees and fishermen with their boats and nets make up the picture of the Ada Seaside.
Visit Ada foah beach for ecotourism activities and beach games and discover truly nice beach resorts, eco lodges, marine turtles, birds, mangroves at the coast and Songor Lagoon catchment area. Poor waste management affects tourism in West Africa and due to the special geographic location of Ada, the area is bothered with garbage that is washed ashore. The waves and the wind carry all the plastic bags from Accra and Tema eastwards and the Volta River flowing out into the Sea stops and collects the garbages at some parts of the beach. There are regular beach cleanings by the government and private initiatives and it is generally clean near the villages, beach resorts/camps and guesthouses.
