Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Yogyakarta. Head to Ratu Boko Temple, a Hindu temple just as beautiful as Prambanan Temple, located just 3 km from Prambanan. Spend time admiring the beauty of Ratu Boko Temple until 5:15 p.m., when the sun begins to set.

Learn about the temple, a relic of the ancient Mataram Kingdom from the 8th century. Hear how it was originally a Buddhist temple, often used for Buddhist worship, but in the 9th century, it was converted into a Hindu temple. Due to the change in the era of the king at that time, this temple is located on a hill facing west, so this temple is very beautiful because of the wide view with a view of Mount Merapi and the position of the sunset behind Mount Merapi, and from this temple you can even see Prambanan Temple from a distance of 3 km.

With its tranquil location, far from the hustle and bustle of city traffic, the atmosphere of a bygone era is truly peaceful. Witness a traditional Javanese dance performance that tells the love story of Rama and Shinta, a story that is already found in the reliefs of the Shiva and Brahma temples, the two main temples of Prambanan temple. Watch the dance performance with 70 to 90 dancers in beautiful costumes, ancient Javanese costumes make the impression of the ancient era clearly visible.

In the dry season, this performance is held on an open stage which we call the Purawisata stage, with the Prambanan temple in the background. The temple background is so beautiful at night with sparkling lights that the view of the Prambanan temple is clearly visible.

The show lasts 1.5 hours. A separate episode features Hanuman (a figure in the story) playing with fire (during the episode when Hanuman is angry and fighting against the evil Rahwana). There's also an archery performance where Rama kills Rahwana with his bow. The show concludes with the story of Rama and Shinta's victory. After the show, your driver will take you back to your hotel, and the tour concludes.
