Discover the best of Kyoto, Nara, and Uji on a day trip from Osaka. Visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, Nara Park, and Byodo-in Temple.
Start your day with a pickup from your hotel in the JR Osaka Loop Line inner area or at the designated meeting point at Vessel Inn Shinsaibashi. Travel by vehicle toward Nara, with an estimated driving time of approximately 1 hour and 25 minutes.
Arrive at Nara Park and enjoy approximately 2 hours of sightseeing. Walk through the park and experience its historic atmosphere and open natural surroundings. Visit Nandaimon Gate, the impressive main southern gate of Todaiji, followed by Todaiji Temple and the Great Buddha.
After sightseeing in Nara, continue by vehicle to Uji, with an estimated driving time of approximately 1 hour. Arrive in Uji and enjoy lunch, taking a break for approximately 45 minutes. Then, visit Byodo-in Temple for an exterior visit. Enjoy the historic atmosphere and architectural appearance of this famous Uji landmark.
Continue by vehicle toward Kyoto, with an estimated driving time of approximately 1 hour. Visit Fushimi Inari Taisha and explore the shrine grounds and experience its distinctive traditional atmosphere. This visit provides time to appreciate the shrine and its iconic torii gate scenery.
Continue to Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, and Ninenzaka for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Stroll through these historic Kyoto areas and enjoy the traditional streetscape surrounding Kiyomizu-dera. After completing the sightseeing, return by vehicle to the JR Osaka Loop Line inner area.
