Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo National park and Game drives

Day 1: Mombasa – Tsavo East
Pick from hotel after the breakfast and drive via Mombasa Nairobi Highway for about 1-2 hours depending on you your pick up point from Mombasa for Tsavo East National Park entering the park through Bachuma game. The park is noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of games including black rhinos, long-necked gerenuk, zebra and water buck, crocodiles. The game drive starts immediately upon entry and explore the park the whole morning hours before you proceed for lunch in Voi Safari Lodge. After lunch relax as the climate and the weather in Tsavo is hot in the afternoon as you wait to go for the afternoon game drive as from 1430hrs-1830hrs, return to the Lodge Voi Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Game drive in Tsavo East National Park

Early morning break fast then start of game drive where you visit the different sections of the park especially the loop side of the park which is swampy and most animals are found there. Visit the pipeline area where most of Elephants concentrate since there are lots of water holes to do mud bathing. Drive along the red-earth tracks, keep eyes open for the movement and signs of African wildlife, the more you look the more you will see, don’t forget to enjoy the excitement of the trip as you point out the wildlife, it will be amazing to see the wildlife living in close proximity to the other, see the huge animals, keep the eyes open for the giraffes they are surprisingly well camouflaged as they nibble the tops of trees, look under the shady trees to find lions sleeping after a hunt out, and watch out as gazelles and cheetahs stroll across the road just in front of you.

Day 3: Tsavo East to Mombasa

Early break fast, followed by morning game drive to capture the sun rise and also it’s a good chance to see the BIG CATS either hunting or hunted and feasting on a kill especially lions. Later depart to Mombasa using the Voi Mombasa highway. Drop off at your hotel in Mombasa

End tour.
