Next, stroll through the narrow alleys of Old Town, lined with coral stone buildings, carved Swahili doors, and balconies showing Arab architectural influence. Stop at the Spice Market (Marikiti) to see and smell exotic spices like cloves, turmeric, and cardamom.
Visit a Hindu Temple, such as the Shiva Temple or Swaminarayan Temple, to admire the intricate architecture and learn about the Hindu community's role in Mombasa.
