Descripción

Explore the wild beauty of Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park—a perfect blend of vast open savannahs, volcanic landscapes, and rich wildlife encounters.
Day 1: Nairobi – Tsavo East National Park

Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi at around 6:00 AM. You’ll drive along the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, passing local towns, rural landscapes, and expansive plains.

You will arrive at Tsavo East through Bachuma Gate around mid-morning. The adventure begins immediately with your first game drive en route to your lodge or camp.

What to Expect:

Tsavo East is known for its wide open plains and iconic red soil, which gives the elephants their famous “red-dust” appearance. Wildlife sightings may include:

Large herds of elephants
Lions (including the famous Tsavo lions)
Giraffes, zebras, and buffalo
Various antelope species and birdlife

You will check in at your lodge, enjoy lunch, and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Accommodation will be at Sentrim Tsavo Camp, Voi Wildlife Lodge, or Voi Safari Lodge, or another similar lodge of equivalent standard subject to availability.

Key Attraction:
Aruba Dam – a hotspot for wildlife, especially during the dry season

Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tsavo East – Tsavo West National Park

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, when wildlife is most active and the lighting is perfect for photography.

After breakfast, you will depart Tsavo East with a game drive en route to Tsavo West, enjoying wildlife sightings along the way.

Arrive in Tsavo West National Park in time for lunch and check in at your lodge.

Afternoon Exploration:

In the afternoon, visit the famous:

Mzima Springs

This natural oasis is fed by underground streams from Mount Kilimanjaro. You’ll have the chance to walk along designated paths and observe:

Hippos swimming in crystal-clear water
Crocodiles basking nearby
Fish and birdlife

Continue with a game drive across Tsavo West’s dramatic terrain—volcanic hills, lava flows, and acacia woodlands.

Optional Highlights:
Rhino Sanctuary (for a chance to spot the endangered black rhino)
Shetani Lava Flows (unique volcanic formations)

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Accommodation will be at Ngulia Safari Lodge or another similar lodge of equivalent standard, subject to availability.

Day 3: Tsavo West – Nairobi

Start your day with an early morning game drive, giving you one last opportunity to spot elusive wildlife such as leopards, hyenas, and elephants.

After breakfast, check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi.

Arrive in the afternoon with drop-off at your hotel, residence, or airport.
