DAY 1:
- Time 5:00 a.m. A van will pick you up at the agreed meeting point or your hotel (please provide the hotel name in advance).
- Upon arrival at the Chiang Khong border, our staff will assist you in crossing the border to Huay Xai, on the Laos side.
- Once you arrive, you will need to apply for a visa. Afterward, our staff will guide you to board a Lao Luang company shuttle for your slow boat journey down the Mekong River. You'll stop and spend the night in Pakbeng (it’s recommended to book accommodation in advance).
DAY 2:
- You should check in before 8:00 a.m.
- Continue your slow boat journey to Luang Prabang.
- Before arriving in Luang Prabang, the boat will stop at Pak Ou Caves, a significant tourist attraction in the area, for travelers to explore.
- Arrival in Luang Prabang is expected around 4:30 p.m.
