Tlacotalpan Just 18 km from Alvarado, this charming town, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is the cradle of Veracruz folklore. Its colorful streets, lined with traditional houses, are home to the Ferrando Museum, the House of Agustín Lara, the Church of La Candelaria, and the Nezahualcóyotl Theater.
