Budva: 18km Sea Kayak Mini Expedition to Petrovac Islands

Begin your full-day sea kayak journey along one of the most scenic stretches of the Montenegrin coastline. Start from Budva and paddle south for 18 km, following a route that gradually opens from a busy Riviera into a sequence of cliffs, open sea sections, and quiet coves.

Over the course of around 6 hours on the water, the landscape keeps changing. Pass a natural rock arch, paddle along exposed cliffs, see Sveti Stefan from the sea, and stop in a small hidden bay to rest before continuing toward Petrovac.

The final part of the route brings you to the islands near Petrovac, marking the end of a long, continuous coastal crossing. Depending on conditions and group pace, there may be time for short stops, swimming, and breaks along the way.

The tour is suitable for beginners with normal physical condition as well as for paddlers with some experience. Before departure, all participants receive basic kayaking instruction and a safety briefing. The route may be adjusted depending on weather and sea conditions to ensure safety.

All essential equipment is provided, including a sit-in sea kayak (single or double), paddle, life jacket, dry bag, and spray skirt, along with guidance throughout the journey, photos, videos, and light snacks.
