Begin your adventure with an early morning pickup from your hotel in Tirana, Durrës, or Golem. Travel north through the spectacular Albanian countryside toward Komani Lake, one of the most breathtaking destinations in the Balkans.
Upon arrival, board a boat and enjoy a scenic cruise through Komani Lake, often called the “Albanian Fjord” thanks to its dramatic mountain landscapes and crystal-clear waters.
Arrive at the famous Shala River, a hidden paradise surrounded by untouched nature. Relax on sun loungers, swim in the turquoise waters, take photos, or enjoy lunch by the river.
In the afternoon, return by boat to Komani and continue the journey toward Montenegro. Cross the Albanian-Montenegrin border and drive along the beautiful Adriatic Coast.
Before arriving in Budva, stop at the famous Sveti Stefan, one of Montenegro’s most iconic landmarks and most photographed locations. On the second day, after breakfast, begin your exploration of Montenegro’s coastline with a visit to Budva. Enjoy some free time to further discover the Old Town, walk along the marina, or relax by the seaside before continuing your journey.
Next, travel to Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled between dramatic mountains and the stunning Bay of Kotor. Wander through the medieval Old Town, discover historic squares, churches, and ancient city walls, and enjoy free time to explore at your own pace.
Continue to Ulcinj, the southernmost coastal town of Montenegro, known for its rich history, beautiful beaches, and unique blend of Balkan and Mediterranean cultures. Visit the Old Town of Ulcinj, admire panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea, and enjoy free time exploring the promenade, relaxing by the coast, or discovering the town’s fascinating heritage.
In the afternoon, begin the return journey to Albania. Arrive back in Tirana, Durrës, or Golem in the evening with unforgettable memories from two of the most beautiful countries in the Balkans.
