Begin your adventure with a trek through the lush jungle canopy of Gunung Leuser National Park, Bukit Lawang. Follow your guide deep into the forest, home to a diverse array of flora and wildlife, including Sumatran orangutans and various monkey species such as the Thomas’s leaf monkey and pig-tailed macaques.

During your time in the forest, your guide will provide you with fresh tropical fruits to keep you energized, and you’ll enjoy a lunch in the forest, making your jungle experience even more extraordinary. After a tiring walk and jungle exploration, your guide will take you to the river where you can soak or swim .

Next, return to Bukit Lawang by tubing. Feel and enjoy the sensation of the river current as it carries you back to the hotel at the original pickup point.

In the afternoon, explore the area and observe the daily lives of the locals on a village tour by becak (tuk-tuk). Broaden your understanding of the daily lives and activities of the local residents around Bukit Lawang. See vegetable gardens and rice paddies, and witness how tempeh and palm sugar are made. After a 3-hour village tour, return to your hotel.
