Begin your day with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to the Chandragiri Cable Car station in Thankot. Board a comfortable 8-passenger gondola and ascend 2.5 kilometers through pine forests to the summit at 2,550 meters.
At the top, visit the Bhaleshwor Mahadev Temple, a revered hilltop temple with religious and historical significance. Marvel at sweeping views of Kathmandu Valley and Himalayan peaks like Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu, and Langtang from the panoramic viewing tower.
Enjoy optional activities like light trekking, zip-lining, horse riding, or a visit to the children’s playground. Refresh yourself with a meal or drink at the hilltop cafe before descending via cable car.
