Kathmandu: Himalayan Sunrise with Spiritual Evening Aarati

Early in the morning, our professional tour guide and private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu in a comfortable private car. You will enjoy a scenic drive to Nagarkot, one of the best viewpoints near Kathmandu, famous for its stunning sunrise and panoramic Himalayan views.

Upon arrival, you’ll walk to the main viewpoint to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. On clear days, you can see a wide range of mountains, including Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Ganesh Himal, and even Mount Everest in the distance. Your guide will explain the surrounding landscapes, mountain ranges, and local life while you enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere and take photos.

After spending quality time at Nagarkot, you will drive back to Kathmandu. The guide will drop you safely at your hotel, giving you time to relax and freshen up.

In the evening, your guide and private driver will again pick you up from your hotel. You will head to one of Kathmandu’s sacred Hindu sites (such as Pashupatinath Temple) to experience the evening Aarti ceremony.

The Aarti is a deeply spiritual ritual with oil lamps, chanting, music, and prayers offered to Lord Shiva along the Bagmati River. Your guide will explain the cultural and religious significance of the ceremony, Hindu traditions, and cremation rituals observed at the riverside. This peaceful and emotional experience offers a beautiful insight into Nepal’s living culture and spirituality.

After the ceremony, you will be driven back to your hotel, marking the end of a memorable day filled with natural beauty and cultural discovery.
