Krapu Danda Hiking from Pokhara is a short and rewarding trek located in Tangting Village, Kaski District. Reaching around 3,090 meters, Krapu Danda (also known as Krapu Choh) offers wide views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu.

The trail passes through forests, terraced fields, and Tangting—a traditional Gurung village with stone houses and views toward Sikles Village and Annapurna II. The ridge is also believed to be part of an ancient Gurung migration route, with remains of early settlements found in the area.

This trek is suitable for beginners, families, and travelers with limited time who want a peaceful Himalayan experience close to Pokhara.

Day 1: Pokhara – Tangting – Trek to Krapu Danda
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel in Pokhara and drive to Tangting Village. Trek through forests and farmland toward Krapu Danda. Spend the night at a local lodge or homestay.

Day 2: Sunrise at Krapu Danda – Return to Pokhara
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. After breakfast, descend to Tangting and drive back to Pokhara by afternoon.
