Join a full-day trip Muscat to Wadi BaniKhalid and the Wahiba Sands. Swim in natural pools, explore the desert by 4WD, see camels, enjoy optional activities, and end with a traditional Bedouin dinner.
Start your day with a convenient pickup from your hotel, the airport, or any location in Muscat or nearby cities. Travel towards the North Sharqiyah Governorate to visit Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the most well-known wadis in Oman. The wadi is famous for its large natural pools, clear water, and surrounding palm trees. You will have free time to explore the area, relax, or swim.
After the wadi visit, continue to the Wahiba Sands, a vast desert known for its rolling sand dunes. Upon arrival, visit a local camel area where you can observe and feed camels. A short camel ride and quad biking are available as optional activities for those interested. These activities are not included in the tour price and can be arranged on site for a small additional fee.
Next, enjoy a 4WD desert drive, crossing and climbing the sand dunes. Several stops will be made for photos, allowing you to take in the unique desert scenery. In the late afternoon, stop at a scenic spot to watch the sunset from the top of the dunes.
In the evening, visit an authentic Bedouin desert camp, where you will be served a traditional local dinner. Experience Bedouin hospitality and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the desert before the return journey to Muscat.
