Meet your local guide, who was born and raised on these riverbanks, and your bilingual companion, who will translate the guide’s local stories and animal sightings in real-time. Set sail from Alter do Chão and enter the complex canal system of the Jari Channel.
Navigate deep into narrow water paths and dense igapós (flooded forests) to spot mammals and reptiles moving along the banks. Keep your eyes peeled for giant toucans, macaws, black-collared hawks, hoatzins, kingfishers, herons, parrots, and hundreds of other rare endemic species.
