Embark on a 4-day high-mountain expedition to climb Nevado Chopicalqui (6,354 m), ideal for experienced mountaineers looking for a great alpine challenge. Your adventure begins with transport from Huaraz to the iconic Llanganuco Gorge. You'll trek to Base Camp surrounded by stunning landscapes. Over the following days, you will gradually ascend to Camp One on the glacier, which will ensure proper acclimatization and technical preparation. On the day of the summit, you will start the ascent at dawn to overcome the snow-covered slopes and technical ridges of the mountain. Upon reaching the top, you'll be rewarded with unparalleled panoramic views of Huascarán, Chacraraju, and Contrahierbas. What to wear and bring:
Technical mountain clothing (3-layer system on top and 2-layer system on bottom)
High mountain boots (Gore-Tex) and gaiters
Large backpack (65 liters) and a small daypack
High-mountain gloves, wool hat, and light sun hat
Sunglasses, sunblock, lip balm, and personal toiletries
Headlamp flashlight with spare batteries
1-liter bottle of water
Personal sleeping bag (recommended for -25°C)

*Personal technical climbing gear: Harness, helmet, crampons, 2 technical ice axes, 4 safety carabiners, 1 lifeline (Daisy Chain), 1 ATC descender, and 2 Prusik cords.*

Cancelaciones
Esta excursión se puede cancelar sin costo alguno hasta :tiempo de cancelación horas antes del inicio del viaje. Si lo cancela después de 24 horas o no se presenta en la excursión, se le cobrará el precio total de la actividad. El retraso en la recogida o en la salida se considerará como no presentarse.
