Meet your guide and set off on a walking tour of Arequipa. Visit the colonial house "Tristán del Pozo" and take a look inside this beautiful building. Continue to the Plaza de Armas, where the city was founded, and admire the Basilica Cathedral with all its wonderful stories.
Next, head to the Mario Vargas Llosa public library to see the coat of arms of Arequipa and a great work of art made of ashlar. Stop at La Canasta Bakery to appreciate typical breads and learn about the history of the residence of the famous former president of Peru, Don Eduardo López del Romana y Alvizuri.
Visit Tambo del Solar, one of the first hotels in the city, and then head to the Bolognesi Bridge Viewpoint to see the volcanoes and the city. Continue to the Cloisters of the Company, a jewel of Andean baroque with its famous carved facade.
Finally, visit the highest viewpoint in the city to admire the entire city and its wonderful volcanoes.
