The adventure begins very early with pickup from the agreed point in the city of Cusco. APPROX. 03 AM From there, you will travel by road to the Ollantaytambo train station, crossing part of the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas and enjoying the Andean landscapes along the way.
Upon arrival at the station, you'll board the train bound for Aguas Calientes, on a route surrounded by mountains, rivers, and abundant vegetation that makes the trip a unique experience.
Once in Aguas Calientes, you'll take the bus that ascends to the entrance of Machu Picchu. There, you'll begin a guided visit of the most important areas of the citadel, where you'll discover the history, architecture, and heritage of one of the world's most iconic archaeological wonders.
During the tour, your tour guide will share information about the construction, meaning, and historical significance of this Inca sanctuary as you explore its main attractions. After the commentary, you'll have a short free period to take pictures and admire the spectacular surroundings.
After the visit, you'll take the bus down to Aguas Calientes to head to the train station and make the trip back to Ollantaytambo. Return train ticket in the evening at 10:00 PM. Upon your arrival, transportation will be waiting to take you back to the city of Cusco.
