Cusco to Ollantaytambo
The tour to Machu Picchu begins with pickup from your hotel in the historic center of Cusco at 4:00 AM. Then we will head to the train station PeruRail or Inca Rail to travel for two hours to the town of Ollantaytambo.
Ollantaytambo Train Station
Once located at the train station in Ollantaytambo we will board the tourist train to Machupicchu town, the travel time is approximately 2 hours.
Machupicchu town
Once you arrive at the train station in Machupicchu town, a person will meet you, to coordinate all the final details before the tour. Then you will be transferred to the Consettur bus station to board the bus that will take you to the entrance gate of Machupicchu. At the entrance gate, our guide will be waiting for you to start the tour inside the citadel of Machu Picchu for approximately two hours.
Lunch in Machupicchu town
Once the tour is over, we will return to Machupicchu village where the guide will indicate the place of the restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious lunch.
Return to Cusco city
According to the established time of your return train to Ollantaytambo, we will go 30 minutes before to the train station to board our respective train to Ollantaytambo, which will take approximately two hours; and then take the second train to the city of Cusco for 2 more hours.
