Ride across the dunes of Huacachina in a dune buggy and enjoy the adventure. Enjoy sandboarding and sandtubing as you explore the desert with gear and safety measures.
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure among the breathtaking dunes of Huacachina. Climb aboard our dune buggy and head into the Ica Desert for a ride full of thrills, incredible scenery, and plenty of adrenaline.
The experience begins with a safety briefing before boarding the dune buggy. Once secured with your 4-point belt, the adventure begins: you'll travel over huge dunes, up and down, while discovering the vastness of the desert.
During the tour, we'll make stops at selected points so you can take in the scenery, take photos, and enjoy two of our favorite activities.
First comes sandboarding. Glide on a board through the dunes of Huacachina and feel the thrill of conquering the sand. No prior experience is necessary. You'll receive the instructions you need to enjoy the activity according to your confidence level.
Then get ready for something different: sandtubing. Climb onto an inflatable and enjoy a fun experience on the sand, a different way to experience the dunes and share a moment full of laughter and adventure.
After the activities, you'll get back in the dune buggy to continue exploring the desert before returning to Huacachina.
Throughout the experience, you'll travel in a Land Cruiser dune buggy equipped with bucket seats, 4-point harnesses, Ironman off-road suspension, and rescue equipment. In addition, the service has SOAT (Compulsory Traffic Accident Insurance), private insurance, and a valid technical inspection.

The activity is a shared service, departing at 4:00 PM, and lasts approximately 1 hour. It is recommended to arrive in advance at the designated meeting point.
The tour includes a dune buggy ride, sandboarding, sand tubing, photo stops, and a panoramic view of the Huacachina Lagoon. Watching the sunset is subject to weather conditions and the season.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothes, close-toed athletic shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Guests must follow the safety instructions of the driver and staff at all times.
This experience is not recommended for participants with back problems or medical conditions that may be affected by sudden movements.
