Arrive at a remote location, free from light pollution, and step out into the silence of the desert. Settle into a cozy setup with Andean rugs on the sand, and enjoy a selection of snacks and refreshing drinks as you take in the vastness of the cosmos.
With the help of a high-powered telescope, an expert astronomer will guide you on a visual journey through the moon, planets, and stars of the Milky Way. Learn about the Andean worldview and the Incas’ relationship with the universe, discovering how the ancient Peruvians interpreted the “Dark Constellations” and the Milky Way (the Mayu or Celestial River) to govern their lives and agriculture.
