Experience a unique sunset contemplating the sunset over the Amazon rainforest. You will meet the species that inhabit the banks of the Madre de Dios River.
Itinerary
We will pick you up at your hotel in Puerto Maldonado at 4:30 p.m. and start the journey to the dock. We will board a boat and, in the late afternoon, the journey will begin. Are you ready to discover the quieter side of the Madre de Dios River?
As we travel along the river we will contemplate the sunset over the Amazon jungle. We will enter the Tambopata National Reserve and the swaying of the boat will relax us as the colors of the sky begin to change.
As night falls we will approach the banks of the Madre de Dios River. There we will discover species such as the bat, the white caiman and the capybara. Did you know that it is the largest rodent in the world? We will turn off the boat's engine and stop to listen to the night sounds of the jungle, a unique sensation!
After this sunset boat ride, we will return to Puerto Maldonado. We will accompany you to the lodge at 7:30 pm to conclude the activity.
