Excursion to the Islands of Uros and Taquile with Lunch

Discover two of the most iconic destinations on Lake Titicaca on a full-day excursion from Puno. Cruise on a fast tourist boat to the floating islands of Uros and continue to Taquile Island to discover its landscapes, traditions, and communities.

The tour begins with a transfer from your hotel to the port of Puno, where you'll board the boat to start your cruise on Lake Titicaca. The first stop will be at the Uros floating islands, traditionally built with totora reeds. During the visit, you will learn about the lifestyle of the inhabitants, their customs, and some of their crafts.

Then continue sailing to Taquile Island. You'll have time to explore the community, learn about its traditions, and enjoy the lake's scenery. You'll also be able to find handicrafts and products made by the local people.

During the excursion, you'll enjoy lunch before making your way back to Puno. At the end, transfer back to your hotel.

Trip Itinerary:

7:00 a.m. – Pick-up and departure from Puno
Hotel pick-up and transfer to the Port of Puno. Board a fast tourist boat and set sail on Lake Titicaca.

Uros Floating Islands
First stop at the Uros floating islands, built with totora reeds. Learn about the living culture of their communities, their lifestyle, and some of their traditional crafts and creations.

Taquile Island
Continue sailing towards Taquile Island. Explore the community, learn about its traditions, and enjoy the landscapes of Lake Titicaca. You'll have time to shop for local crafts.

Lunch and return
Enjoy lunch during the excursion and then start the return journey to Puno. Drop-off at your hotel at approximately 3:30 PM.
