Your ride begins near Mount Kigali, one of the city’s most scenic natural areas. After a safety briefing and proper bike fitting, you’ll head out on a guided cycling route using hybrid bikes designed for comfort and stability on gravel and dirt roads.
The terrain is varied but non-technical — wide roads and natural paths with gentle elevation changes. This is not a mountain biking trail and does not require advanced cycling skills. Instead, it’s a scenic and engaging ride suitable for confident beginners and intermediate riders.
Along the way, you’ll stop at panoramic viewpoints overlooking Kigali’s hills and surrounding countryside. Your guide shares insights about the landscape, local communities, and Rwanda’s unique geography.
