Get picked up from your hotel and drive to Bentota Beach. Meet your pilot and get ready for your paramotoring experience. After a safety briefing, take to the skies and enjoy the perfect views of the Aluthgama and Bentota coastline.
Fly low and slow, assuring your safety, especially if you are a beginner. Soar over the beach and admire the beauty of the coast from above. Enjoy the perfect views of the Bentota coastline while the flight lasts for 10 minutes. Bring your own camera to capture the experience, but make sure it is safely handled as the pilot will only be handling the paramotor.
After the paramotoring adventure, be taken to a mangrove river boat safari in the Bentota River. The wetlands are perfect for birdwatching while you can also spot many crocodiles, monitor lizards, and monkeys that inhibit the river.
Next, visit the ancient Temple of Kande Viharaya. Located at the top of a hill near the town of Aluthgama, the Kande Viharaya (which means “Mountain Temple” in the Sinhalese language) is one of the most well-known Buddhist temples in Sri Lanka. Founded in the early 18th century, the temple is a must-see.
Enjoy a lunch from a riverfront restaurant (at your own expense) and then be dropped back to your hotel.
