Begin your journey with a 2-hour drive from Colombo or Negombo to the Welipenna service area. Take a break before continuing for 3 hours to Udawalawe. Visit a spice and herbal garden, where you can learn about Sri Lankan herbal and spice plants.

Next, see the Udawalawe Tank, where you can watch locals fishing and enjoy the scenic views. Sample some seasonal Sri Lankan fruits, such as mangoes and bananas.

Then, hop into a jeep for a safari in Udawalawe National Park. During the safari, see a lake and spot animals like crocodiles and birds. As you continue, encounter elephants, deer, monkeys, peacocks, water buffalo, and baby elephants. Spend 3 hours inside the park, taking in the beautiful nature and wildlife.
