Begin your day with a punctual pickup from your hotel in Habarana, Sigiriya or Dambulla by private tuk-tuk with an experienced driver-guide. Visit the UNESCO-listed Dambulla Cave Temple, home to ancient Buddha statues and beautiful cave paintings, followed by the nearby Golden Temple.
Stop at a local Herbal and Spice Garden to learn about Sri Lankan Ayurvedic products and a wide variety of traditional spices, with guided explanations. Next, visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, one of the world’s most famous heritage sites, often referred to as the 8th Wonder of the World. You may explore the surroundings or climb the rock.
Experience authentic village life with followed by a peaceful catamaran boat ride across a village lake. Continue to a traditional village home, where you’ll enjoy a Sri Lankan rice and curry buffet, along with a small live cooking demonstration.
Choose an optional 3-hour jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, Kaudulla National Park, or Hurulu Eco Park.
