Meet your host family at the lake's edge and get a brief introduction to the catamaran and how the experience will unfold. Settle into the catamaran as your host paddles out to a quiet spot on the lake.
Watch as tea is brewed traditionally, right on the boat, while you drift with Sigiriya Rock in view. Sip your tea as your host shares the family's tea-growing background and a few small rituals around proper preparation.
Choose the sunrise option to experience the soft early light and often misty water as the sun comes up. Or, choose the sunset option to watch the water and rock face shift color as the sun goes down.
After your tea, enjoy a gentle paddle back to shore once the light has changed.
