As the Blue Mosque is an active place of worship, please dress modestly. Women are required to cover their heads, shoulders, and knees. Scarves can be borrowed at the mosque if needed.
Shoes must be removed before entering. A plastic bag will be provided to carry them during your visit.
The mosque may be closed to visitors during prayer times or special religious events.
Security checks are mandatory for all visitors. Please allow extra time before the tour.
This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to uneven ground around the mosque.
Please note that loud talking and flash photography are not permitted inside the mosque.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The Blue Mosque is wheelchair accessible, but personal wheelchairs are not allowed inside the prayer hall to protect the carpets. Visitors can transfer to a mosque-provided wheelchair with assistance from staff at the entrance.
