Uganda: 2-Day Tea Picking and Chimpanzee Trek Adventure

Day 1: Tea Plantation Experience

Begin your adventure with a drive into Uganda’s lush countryside. Arrive at a local tea plantation and meet the farmers who work there. Join them in the fields to pick your own tea leaves, learning about the different varieties and techniques used.

After harvesting, discover how the freshly picked leaves are processed and transformed into the tea you drink. Watch as the leaves are withered, rolled, and dried, and learn about the different stages of production. Enjoy the chance to taste the final product, savoring the flavors of Uganda’s famous tea.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trek

On the second day, head into the rainforest for a guided trek in search of wild chimpanzees. Follow your guide through the dense jungle, keeping an eye out for these fascinating primates in their natural habitat.
