Your journey begins early in the morning as your guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter between 07:30 and 08:00. Leave behind the bustling city and head toward the serene landscapes of Hoa Binh Province, where nature gradually unfolds into rolling mountains and lush valleys.

Around 10:30, the group will stop at Thung Khe Pass, one of the most scenic viewpoints in northern Vietnam. Here, you can stretch your legs, take photos, and admire the panoramic views of dramatic limestone mountains and misty valleys that create a breathtaking natural backdrop.

By 11:30, you will arrive at Lac Village in Mai Chau, home to the Thai ethnic minority. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch at a local house, with vegetarian options available. After lunch, take some time to relax and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before beginning your cultural exploration.

In the early afternoon, from 13:00 to 15:00, embark on a cycling tour through the beautiful Mai Chau Valley. Ride along quiet village roads surrounded by rice paddies, stilt houses, and friendly locals. Visit traditional Thai homes to learn about their unique customs, daily life, and cultural practices that have been preserved for generations.

Your guide will also take you to local brocade workshops, where you can discover the intricate art of traditional weaving. You’ll have the chance to learn how textiles are made and shop for handmade souvenirs as meaningful keepsakes of your journey.

At around 15:00, say goodbye to the tranquil valley and begin your return journey to Hanoi. Sit back and relax as the scenery slowly transitions back to city life.

By approximately 19:30, you will arrive back in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, marking the end of a memorable day filled with culture, nature, and authentic local experiences.
