From Hue: DMZ War Tour – Vinh Moc & Khe Sanh (Small Group)

Begin your Hue DMZ Tour journey with a morning pickup from your hotel in Hue. Travel north along Highway 1 while your guide introduces the historical background of the area.

Make your first stop at Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, an important historical site associated with the 1972 battles. Continue to the Vinh Moc Tunnels, a Vietnamese’s underground village where you will explore different levels of the underground tunnel system and visit a small museum, learning how local civilians lived during wartime.

Next, visit Hien Luong Bridge and the Ben Hai River, which once marked the division between North and South Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing the journey along Highway 9 toward the mountainous region.

In the afternoon, visit Khe Sanh Combat Base (Ta Con Airport), where you can see preserved aircraft, bunkers, and historical exhibits. Continue to Dakrong Bridge, where you will make a short stop near local ethnic minority villages. Here, you can observe daily life and learn about communities such as the Paco and Van Kieu people.

Return to Hue in the late afternoon, with hotel drop-off at approximately 6:00 PM.
