On the evening prior to departure, meet your senior rafting guide at your lodge or hotel to conduct a detailed pre-trip briefing, advise on what to bring, distribute dry bags if required, and answer any final questions.

Option 1: 1 Night / 2 Days – Upper Gorge Expedition

Overnight: Rapid 10

Take-out: Rapid 25

Day 1

Hotel pickup from Livingstone or Victoria Falls

Safety briefing and equipment fitting

Full-day white-water rafting through classic Zambezi rapids

Paddle to Rapid 10

Riverside camp setup, dinner, and overnight camping in the gorge


Day 2

Breakfast at camp

Rafting from Rapid 10 to Rapid 25

Final hike out of the gorge

Transfer back to Livingstone or Victoria Falls

Option 2: 1 Night / 2 Days – Extended Upper & Lower Gorge

Overnight: Rapid 21

Take-out: Lower Moemba

Day 1

Hotel pickup from Livingstone or Victoria Falls

Safety briefing and equipment fitting

Full-day rafting, including the pool beneath Victoria Falls (water levels permitting)

Continued rafting through powerful big-water rapids

Camp setup and overnight at Rapid 21

Dinner and overnight camping in the gorge

Day 2

Breakfast at camp

Rafting the lower Zambezi River section

Take-out at Lower Moemba

Transfer back to Livingstone or Victoria Falls

Option 3: 2 Nights / 3 Days – Classic Zambezi Expedition



Overnights: Rapid 10 & Rapid 21 or Rapid 25 (guide decision)

Take-out: Lower Moemba

Day 1

Hotel pickup and expedition briefing

Full-day rafting through iconic Zambezi rapids

Camp setup and overnight at Rapid 10

Day 2

Breakfast at camp

Rafting deeper into the Batoka Gorge

Lunch on the river

Camp setup and overnight at Rapid 21 or Rapid 25, determined by the guide based on timing, river conditions, and group progress

Day 3

Breakfast at camp

Final rafting stretch to Lower Moemba

Take-out and transfer back to Livingstone or Victoria Falls

Option 4: 3 Nights / 4 Days – Full Zambezi Expedition

Overnights: Rapid 10, Rapid 25, Lower Moemba Camp

Take-out: Lower Moemba (following day after breakfast)
